A simple prayer that is very powerful is the Lords Prayer and if you are starting out on prayers, this is the one to learn and use on a daily basis as it helps you to grow and gradually you can also develop other prayers according to your particular needs.

Matthew 9-15
"This, then, is how you should pray:

'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will
also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins,
your Father will not forgive your sins.

The important aspect of praying is to have a clear heart of forgiveness and come to God in absolute faith in your prayers
